Airlite Industrial Wheels
Airlite wheels are designed for medium-duty applications and feature a single-wall construction of highly corrosive, spark-proof, impact-absorbing prime aluminum alloy. The wheel cores are webbed to resist fracturing. Airlite wheels combine lightness with strength while transmitting the load directly to the bearing surfaces. Cast in permanent molds to ensure concentricity, balance, and uniformity.
Overview
A general-purpose, medium-duty wheel, available with either straight roller or self-lubricating porous bronze bearings. Available with a rubber tread or Aerolast polyurethane tread.
Application
Ideal in applications where bearing contamination may be a problem. Requires only occasional lubrication and, when used within recommended load ratings, will give long and economical service.
